This Day in History...

July 25, 1554 - Mary I married Philip II of Spain at Winchester Cathedral. Most in the country were violently opposed to the marriage.

July 25, 1603 - James I is crowned King of England (he was already James VI of Scotland).

July 25, 1834 - Famous English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge died.
