This Day in History...

Not too much going on in history on this date...


July 28, 1540 - Thomas Cromwell was beheaded on Tower Hill for promoting the king's failed marriage to Anne of Cleves.

July 28, 1540 - Henry VIII married his 5th wife, Catherine Howard at Hampton Court Palace.
